Trai on the running of the DND 2.0 app amid relief to iPhone users:

TRAI also instructed telecom companies in July this year that companies unregister all smartphones that do not permissions the Trai to be installed in the phone.

New Delhi (Tech desk). The controversy over the long-running DND app between the American mobile producer company Apple and the Indian Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRAI) has now ended. It has relieved millions of iPhone users all over the way. To let you know that Trai had also directed the telecom companies in July this year that companies unregister all smartphones that do not permissions the Trai to be installed in the phone. This is the risk of unregistering of the smartphone to the IPhone users across the region.

The Android operating system company Google also has already list the DND app on its Play store. While, Apple declined to list it on its app store by citing security reasons. Subsequently, the Indian Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRAI) issued a directive to Apple that the app will not list on its app store within 6 months if all the iPhone being used in the country is unregistered. The deadline of the Trai was January 2019.

After installing this app, users need to set up a parayariti of your DND through three step process. You can then ban unwanted text messages or calls by permissions the app. You can also report any call or message you want. You will see the option of Report message below in your phone's message option.

Similarly, you will be able to report any unwanted numbers by going into the phone call app. Swap from right to left on any number. You will also have the option to report directly to you.
This is Trai's new guidelines

According to Trai's new guidelines, all the country's network service providers in 6 months ensure that the DND App 2.0 on all devices running on their network has network permission under Regulation rules 6 (2) (e) and 23 (2) (d). In case of not having that device will be unregistered from the telecom network under the Rules 6 (2) (e) and 23 (2) (d) of regulation. '
